Horimiya, Rose Gun Days: Season 1 and Final Fantasy Type-0 Side Story Manga Licensed by Yen Press

English manga and light novel publisher Yen Press announced three new series to be translated into English:

Ryushiki07 (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) and Souichirou’s Rose Gun Days: Season 1 manga
Takatoshi Shiozawa (Full Moon) and Hiroki Chiba’s Final Fantasy Reishiki Gaiden: Hyouken no Shinigami manga
HERO’s (Asao-san to Kurata-kun) and Daisuke Hagiwara’s (Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou Anthology) Horimiya manga

The first license announcement was Rose Gun Days: Season 1 manga.  The manga began on August 22, 2012 in Square Enix’s September 2012 issue of Monthly Gangan Joker magazine. The manga ended on February 22, 2014. It  has 4 compiled manga volumes. The first volume was released on December 22, 2012 while the final volume was shipped on April 22, 2014. The first English-translated volume will be out around Fall 2015.

The second license announcement was Final Fantasy Reishiki Gaiden: Hyouken no Shinigami (Final Fantasy Type-0 Side Story: The Reaper of the Icy Blade) manga.  The manga began on April 12, 2012 in Square Enix’s September 2012 issue of Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine. The manga ended on March 12, 2014 with 23 overall chapters. It has 5 compiled manga volumes. The first volume was released on September 22, 2012 while the final volume was shipped on April 22, 2014. The first English-translated volume will be out on July 2015.

The third and final license announcement was Horimiya (Hori-san to Miyamura-kun) manga. The manga began on October 18, 2011 in Square Enix’s November 2011 issue of Monthly GFantasy magazine. It currently has 6 compiled manga volumes. The first volume was released on March 27, 2012 while the latest volume was shipped on October 27, 2014. The first English-translated volume will be out on October 2015.

Witness Frieza Turn Super Saiyan in New Dragon Ball Z 2015 Movie Trailer

A brand new triler has been streamed for the upcoming film Dragon Ball Z Movie 15: Fukkatsu no F. This new trailer features various battles that will be fought in the film between the Z Warriors and the return of Frieza, who can now turn Super Saiyan, or well the super saiyan equivalent for Frieza. The trailer also previews the main theme F by Maximum the Hormone. The movie will be the 15th overall theatrical film in the Dragon Ball Z franchise. It will be an new original story written by the manga’s creator Akira Toriyama, similar to the 2012 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film. Toriyama will be more involved with the upcoming film, being credited with the original concept, screenplay and character designs.

Dragon Ball Z Movie 15: Fukkatsu no F will be releasing in Japanese theatres on April 18th 2015. The film itself will also be shown in traditional 2D and in 3D, the first time the franchise will be in 3D.

Ryouko Asakura Bullies Yuki Nagato in This New Visual

A new key visual for the upcoming anime adaptation of Nagaru Tanigawa and Puyo’s The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan (The Vanishing of Nagato Yuki-Chan) has been revealed in the April issue of NyanType. The new visual features Ryouko Asakura bullying Yuki Nagato.

A new visual was also revealed in the February issue of NewType last month and the March issue of NyanType.

It was also revealed that the anime series will premiere on April 3 and the first character colored designs:

Minori Chihara (Chiaki Minami from Minami-ke) will reprise her role as Yuki Nagato

Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata from Gintama) will be back as Kyon

Love Live! Sunshine!! Announced – Possible New Anime?

The official website of Dengeki G‘s magazine has revealed a new image teasing a new project titled Love Live! Sunshine!! A new image has been revealed featuring a new anime character in an unfamiliar uniform with the words “Help, Love Live!” Further details about the announcement have not been revealed, including whether it will be a new anime series or not.

The page for the announcement itself calls the new announcement Love Live! Sunshine!! Start, and notes that it is coming soon. The site also reveals that more information about Love Live! Sunshine!! will be revealed in the April issue of Dengeki G‘s magazine, releasing on the 28th.

Love Live! School Idol Project is an original anime produced by Sunrise studios that aired in January 2013. The conception of the anime project was started in 2010 by Dengeki G’s Magazine. The editors wanted parts of the project to be heavily influenced by fans, parts such as the costumes, hairstyles and names of the idols. While this project was taking place, a manga of the project called Love Live!, written and illustrated by Sakurako Kimino and Arumi Tokita, began serializing. An anime series soon premiered, followed by an app and an OVA. The second season titled Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season aired from April 6, 2014 to June 29, 2014 for a total of 13 episodes.

Sword Art Online: Progress Link Smartphone Game Opening Posted

Launched earlier this month on February 10, 2015, Sword Art Online: Progress Link is an RPG released on iOS and Android. It is an ALO-based game where players can choose their own race, as well as use Sword Skill and magic. The game operates via Mobage platform.

Attack on Aqua Clara

A collaboration between Japanese water cooler manufacturer Aqua Clara and Attack on Titan launched today. Attack on Titan-themed “Hydration Corps” are being rented out with a monthly refill and maintenance fee of 1,500 yen ($12.65).

You can swap out the panels on their “Dress-Up Server” cooler models with panels featuring a Attack on Titan visual, Levi, or the Colossal Titan which are being sold for 8,000 yen ($67) each:

Each machine has a RO filter and an anti-bacterial ultraviolet lamp for purification, a water-heating feature for tea, and a built-in digital clock.
