KLabGames Announce Bleach: Brave Souls for Smartphones

It has been revealed that KLabGames, the studio behind Love Live: School Idol Festival for iOS and Android are developing a new Bleach game for smartphones called Bleach: Brave Souls which is due for release this spring in Japan.

Bleach: Brave Souls will be a free-to-play action game where you can recruit your favorite Bleach characters to organize a team and fight against enemies to progress through the 3D stages while reliving the story of the series.

More Cast Revealed for Kekkai Sensen TV Anime

Two additional cast members have been revealed on the official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Yasuhiro Nightow’s Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) manga.

The two new members of the anime’s main cast are:

Akio Ohtsuka (Batou from Ghost in the Shell) will voice Blitz T. Abrahms
Unshou Ishizuka (Joseph Joestar from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders) as Patrick
The two new cast members will join:

Rikiya Koyama (Kiritsugu Emiya in Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night) is voicing the role of Klaus von Reinhertz

Daisuke Sakaguchi (Shinpachi Shimura in Gintama) as Leonard Watch

Kazuya Nakai (Roronoa Zoro from One Piece) will voice Zapp Renfro

Yuu Kobayashi (Sasha Blouse from Attack on Titan) is voicing Chain Sumeragi

Mitsuru Miyamoto (Maiza Avaro in Baccano!) voices Stephen A. Starphase

Fire Emblem If for the Nintendo 3DS Announced

A New Fire Emblem game titled Fire Emblem IF for the Nintendo 3DS was announced during the Nintendo Direct session on Wednesday. It’s being developed by Intelligent Systems with character designs by Yusuke Kozaki, and also features a story by Shin Kibayashi, the author who provided the original idea for the Kindaichi Case Files manga. The Fire Emblem series is Nintendo’s big strategy-RPG series that has captivated fans with its epic stories and lovable characters.

Fire Emblem is a fantasy tactical role-playing video game franchise developed by Nintendo’s Intelligent Systems division and published by Nintendo as a first-party title, first appearing on the Famicom. The Fire Emblem series is well known for its innovation and for being one of the first Eastern style tactical role-playing games, with a strong emphasis on Western forms of medieval fantasy. The series is also renowned for having deeply developed characters, as well as the fact that most units’ death or defeat in battle is permanent in the game until the end of the play-through. The series currently spans thirteen games, and has been released on the Family Computer, Super Famicom, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Wii and Nintendo 3DS.

This Gorgeous Sento Isuzu Figure Is Floating on Clouds

A few days ago Kotobukiya revealed a prototype for their latest figure, today the awesomely high-quality 1/8 scale figure of main heroine Sento Isuzu from Amagi Brilliant Park is now up for pre-order!

Sento Isuzu is sitting down in her signature red shirt and black mini skirt on a cloud base while pointing her finger and wielding her weapon the magical muzzleloader. Moffle is also displayed on the base.

Amagi Brilliant Park – Sento Isuzu 1/8 Figure – Pre-orders are currently available on JList and is scheduled to be released in May 2015.

Live Action Naruto’s TV ad gets streamed

As the excitement for the live action Naruto musical builds as it leads to its performances not only in Japan, but also Singapore, Malaysia, and Macau, the stage play’s TV ad finally gets streamed.

The play has already revealed Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Gaara during the Jump Festa, and they have also recently unveiled the costumes for Kakashi, Zabuza, Haku, Iruka, and the 3rd Hokage.

The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls Real Life and Anime Locations Comparison

With the latest The iDOLM@STER anime series debuting last Friday, dedicated fans of the franchise have identified some of the locations featured in The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls anime.

Here are some of the comparison images which have surfaced so far:

According to Japanese blog Yaraon, fans started to arrive at the locations which were identified just 2 hours of the first episode’s broadcast. Keep in mind it the first episode was broadcasted at midnight on Tokyo MX, which means fans ventured outside at around 2am just to visit the locations.

Scarlett Johansson to Star in Live Action Ghost in the Shell Film

Movie news website Variety have revealed that Scarlett Johansson, the star of Lucy and Black Widow in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, will be starring in DreamWorks’ upcoming live action Ghost in the Shell film. Additional members of the movie’s staff were also revealed.

The site has also revealed that Avi Arad (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Ghost Rider) and Steven Paul (Ghost Rider, Baby Geniuses) will be producing the film. Rupert Sanders, known for directing the 2012 Universal Pictures film Snow White and the Huntsman, will direct the film with William Wheeler (The Reluctant Fundamentalist) who will write the film’s script.

In the year 2029, the barriers of our world have been broken down by the net and by cybernetics, but this brings new vulnerability to humans in the form of brain-hacking. When a highly-wanted hacker known as ‘The Puppetmaster’ begins involving them in politics, Section 9, a group of cybernetically enhanced cops, are called in to investigate and stop the Puppetmaster. The pursuit will call into question what makes a human and what is the Puppetmaster in a world where the distinction between human and machine is increasingly blurry.

Amazon.co.jp ranks the Top 10 best-selling anime, mangas, and light novels of 2014

With 2014 now over, Amazon.co.jp has now unveiled which anime Blu-rays, mangas, and light novels, have been doing very well with their sales last year. These rankings were based on their sales from the period of December 1, 2013 until November 16, 2014.
