Tatsuo Kusakabe from My Neighbor Totoro

Mei and Satsuki Kusakabe’s father

He is an awesome dad because despite being busy with his work as a university professor and as an archaeologist, he still finds time to play along with his two daughters and even encourages their wild imaginations. Maes Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist

Elicia’s father

Don’t let this proud father get a chance to talk about his cute daughter or you’ll regret it! He. Will. Not. Stop. Let’s just say Hughes just loves doting on his daughter to the point that he becomes a nuisance to others. But what makes Hughes so wesome as a dad is his dedication to that role and like Minato, he is willing to sacrifice his life for his family, which he unfortunately does. What a hero dad!

The 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze from Naruto

Naruto Uzomaki’s father

The weakest show About Akuma no Riddle

Akuma no Riddle is a somewhat derivative mixup of stories like Battle Royale and Hitman: Absolution.  It revolves around the "Black Class," a special class at a special school consisting entirely of girls.  One of these girls is Haru Ichinose, a cutie who's optimistic to a fault and determined to graduate.  Unfortunately, what Haru doesn't realize is that every other girl in her class has enrolled for the express purpose of murdering her.

Akuma no Riddle is a strange show, to be honest.  It makes no real effort to expand on its setting or overarching plot, which leaves you with just the moment to moment action to go by.  The cast is also largely nothing special, with most of the characters fulfilling basic conventional character archetypes (and some not fulfilling these archetypes particularly well) and barely functioning beyond their tendency to attack Haru one at a time, once per week in a typical 'monster of the week' format.  Haru herself is strangely endearing with her tireless optimism and friendly disposition, even towards her classmates who she is very aware are all going to try to kill her in cold blood at some point or another.  But the only mildly interesting character in the show other than Haru so far is Nio, a mysterious and somewhat amusing girl who watches over the proceedings as a sort of referee rather than actively participating herself.
Even more strange is Haru herself, who seems to be totally at peace with the fact that she is very clearly on the chopping block.  Perhaps in spite of this, she continually places more trust in her classmates than any sane person in her situation ought to.  When invited to meet one of the girls in a secluded location late at night, she happily agrees.  Despite how foolish she acts and how sunny her disposition generally is, Haru doesn't give the impression of being a total dope.  This isn't her first rodeo, and underneath that bubbly personality we see a girl who's fought all her life just to stay alive, and is at this point inexplicably confident in her ability to get through this ordeal just as she has before.

The Oarai girls from Girls und Panzer line up for the Ibara

The relationship between hit TV anime Girls und Panzer and Ibaraki Prefecture has been very strong indeed and the anime was recently awarded with the prefecture’s Ibaraki Image Award for helping the area gain some much needed tourism revenue which it gets from anime tourists and pilgrims who visit the sites which were featured throughout the anime.

The town of Oarai, which is the home turf for the anime’s main characters held the awarding ceremony at the local shopping district where locals were quite enthusiastic. The Oarai Senshadou team, as well as some guests from Anzio all lined up in a street to celebrate the event.

Miho Nishizumi’s voice actress, Mai Fuchigami was present during the ceremony along with Girls und Panzer producer Kiyoshi Sugiyama. The prize was awarded to Oarai town’s “Oarai GaruPan Project” which was responsible for the rise in the prefecture’s tourism and it was awarded by the Ibaraki governor himself, Akira Hashimoto.

The prefecture is also know for its beaches, and with summer already around the corner, they stepped up their PR campaign and introduced a new poster featuring the anime’s main characters. It was even signed by Mai Fuchigami! Welcome to Oarai indeed…
