2015 Dragon Ball Z anime film teased in video

“The worst wish in history, now the despair begins,” is the teaser video’s main tagline. Just like the previous Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie Akira Toriyama is credited as this film’s original creator, character designer and script writer.

Gosho Aoyama’s Magic Kaito gets anime adaptation

This manga was serialised way back in 1987 and has a total of four volumes. Previously, it had a 12-episode special which began airing in April 2010. Kaito, the main protagonist, has also appeared in Detective Conan several times.

 

 

Here’s how its story goes: Kaito Kuroba is an ordinary teenage boy who discovers that his late father is the well-known International Criminal 1412: the Phantom Thief. His father refused to help a mysterious organization in obtaining the Pandora Gem which gives immortality.

Anime adaptation for Sega smartphone RPG Chain Chronicle greenlit

During the Chain Chronicle Offline Fan Meeting in Tokyo, a short animated video by Sega announced that the smartphone RPG will in fact be getting itself its very own anime adaptation.

The anime will be revolving around main characters Fina and Pirika and will be directed by Vandread director Takeshi Mori with character designs by Guilty Crown’s Hiromi Kato. Qualia will be doing the screenplay while production will be done by Sotsu.

The cast has also been announced and they are:

Akira Ishida (Gundam SEED’s Athrun Zala and Fairy Tail’s Zeref)
Ayane Sakura (Love Lab’s Yuiko Enomoto and Is The Order A rabbit’s Cocoa)
Maaya Uchida (Chuunibyou’s Rika Takanashi and Is The Order A Rabbit’s Sharo)

All-female live action musical cast thrills crowd during the Sailor Moon -La Reconquista- DVD launch event

The Sailor Moon live action musical cast appeared in costume over at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City Fountain Square yesterday, July 21, 2014 to the delight of the crowd. It is all to promote the launch of the Sailor Moon -La Reconquista- DVD.

In front of approximately 1,200 fans, the musical cast, which comprises of Satomi Okubo (Sailor Moon), Momoyo Koyama (Sailor Mercury), Kanon Nanaki (Sailor Mars), Yu Takahashi (Sailor Jupiter), Shiori Sakata (Sailor Venus), and Yuga Yamato (Tuxedo Mask), posed and performed several lines from the play.

They also did a musical number on “Moonlight Legend” which thrilled the Sunshine Ikebukuro crowd, while Tuxedo Mask received quite a lot of ovation from the female fans as she performed a solo.

As Sailor Moon Crystal finally made its premiere with a lot of love from fans, they also got to hear Momoiro Clover Z’s latest single, Moon Pride, which served as the anime’s OP song. The J-pop girl group were also featured in the cover dressed up like the Sailor Warriors themselves with the moon in the back ground.

Rin’s sexy dancing aside, the other cast members were doing their own thing like Rei Ryuugasaki doing some weird experiment  in what seems to be a swimming pool “underwater area”. That very “underwater area” is actually a contemporary art exhibit in a museum in Kanagawa which provides the facade that you are really underwater.

The exhibit is in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanagawa and is named “Swimming Pool” which aims to “reflect” the beauty of a figure as seen by someone underwater. Also known as the “Pool Of Leandro”, it was based on the concept by Leandro Erlich and this would be the artist’s first solo exhibit in Japan. The exhibit will only be shown until August 31, 2014 so Free! fans better hurry.

Kyoto Animation announces Beyond the Boundary movie

 

 

The card announced that the movie is due for its theatrical release on Spring 2015. More information about this new Beyond the Boundary movie will be released in the future.

 

Expect the lovable heroine Mirai to go “Fuyukai desu!” once again along with the rest of the gang in this new movie.
