Yuri Lovers Rejoice as Aniplex Releases Figures of Kyouko and Sayaka Holding Hands

With all the excitement of AnimeJapan 2015, this weekend fans of the popular magical-girl themed Puella Magi Madoka Magica series and yuri can rejoice as Aniplex have revealed pictures for their line of yukata themed Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica figures of Kyoko Sakura and Sayaka Miki, revealing the option of a removable part to make the two hold hands.

The two come in a line of beautiful Puella Magi Madoka Magica yukata figures featuring all the main girls. Preorder information for both Kyouko and Sayaka are available on Aniplex’s website, both priced at 120 yen to be released in November of this year.

Jitsu wa Watashi wa Reveals Visual

The official Tumblr account and official anime website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Masuda Eiji’s vampire romantic-comedy manga series, Jitsu wa Watashi wa (The Truth Is I Am…), launched yesterday. It revealed the cast and staff for the anime as well as the key visual. The anime is slated to air this Summer 2015.

Jitsu wa Watashi wa is a manga written and illustrated by Matsuda Eiji. It has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s shounen manga magazine, Weekly Shounen Champion since 2013 and has been collected into ten tankoubon volumes.

Second Oregairu 2 Promotional Video Streamed

The second promotional video has been released online at AnimeJapan for the upcoming second season anime adaptation of Wataru Watari and Ponkan8’s Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) light novel series, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku. This new video teases some of the scenes from the upcoming second season and also previews the anime’s Opening theme “Harumodoki” sung by Nagi Yanagi.

One Punch Man Promotional Video and Staff Revealed

During the AnimeJapan 2015 event the first promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of ONE and Yuusuke Murata’s One Punch-Man manga was revealed. One Punch-Man will debut this October.

The anime itself was announced in this week’s issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine. Murata stated that the news brought him extremely happy and wanted to post on Twitter, but was unable to and withheld any additional comments. ONE mentioned that he was attending meetings about the anime’s production.

One Punch-Man is an action, comedy, parody manga written by ONE and illustrated by Yuusuke Murata. The series began in 2009 as a free online web comic written by ONE, before being picked up by Shueisha and being featured in their Young Jump magazine publication in mid 2012, with Murata illustrating. To date, a total of 7 compiled volumes have been released with the 8th volume releasing on April 3rd. The series has become a phenomenon in Japan, selling over 4.5 million copies as of November last year, doubling its sales in one year.

Genco, the makers of the Gun Gale Online / Sword Art Online II bed sheet version of Kirito which was sold at last year’s Summer’s Comiket 86 doujinshi mega-event are back with a brand new Kazuto Kirigaya bed covering which will be sold at the AnimeJapan 2015 tradeshow this weekend. The item will be offered along with Asuna x Yuki towels and water proof clear posters and more at the Genco booth.

Oregairu 2 Visual Revealed

A new key visual for the second season of the anime adaptation of Wataru Watari and Ponkan8’s Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) light novel series has been revealed. The second season titled Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU 2), will be airing from March 28.

Here’s the characters in order: Yukino Yukinoshita, Yui Yuigahama, Hachiman Hikigaya and Iroha Isshiki.

MONACA (Nisemonogatari, Wake Up, Girls!) will again be in charge of music and Satoshi Motoyama (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Oreimo) will again serve as sound director.

This romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hikigaya Hachiman with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he sees his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters: “They’re a bunch of liars.” When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, “Not working.” A teacher gets Hachiman to join the “Volunteer Service” club, which happens to have the school’s prettiest girl, Yukinoshita Yukino.

Punchline 3rd Video Teases Plot: Once He Sees Panties, Humanity Is Destroyed!?

The official website for the Punchline TV anime began streaming the third promotional video on Sunday. In addition to this, a new key visual was posted and it was revealed that Shoko Nakagawa (Shokotan) and Dempagumi.inc perform the opening theme “PUNCH LINE!”, under the group name, “Shokotan Dempagumi.inc.”

The new key visual’s tagline reads, “Once he sees panties, humanity is destroyed!?” Writer Kotaro Uchikoshi (Ever17) told Famitsu magazine that a game project is in the works.

Second High School DxD BorN Promotional Video Streamed

The official website for the upcoming third anime season of Ichiei Ishibumi and Miyama-Zero’s High School DxD began streaming the second promotional video on Sunday

The website also revealed the Opening theme song for the upcoming anime. It was earlier revealed that Japanese female singer ChouCho will be performing the OP. The name of the song will be “BLESS YoUr NAME” and will be available in stores from April 15th. Four-member voice actress unit StylipS will sing the ending theme song titled, “Give Me Secret,” and will ship on a single on May 27.

Plastic Memories 2nd Key Visual Revealed

The official website for the original TV anime project Plastic Memories launched the second key visual on Saturday.

The recent issue of Kadokawa’s Dengeki G‘s magazine also revealed that the anime will air from April 5.

Here is a synopsis of Plastic Memories from Haruhichan:

This story takes place in a future not too far away when androids that look exactly like humans begin to spread across the world. The android production company SA Corp. produced Giftia, a new kind of android that has the most amount of emotion and human-like qualities out of any other model ever seen.

However, due to problems in technology, the androids have a service life, and once they pass that, they… Well, it gets pretty bad. For this sake, SA Corp. creates a terminal service in order to retrieve Giftia that have gone past their service life. A new employee at the terminal service named Tsukasa Mizugaki forms a team with the Giftia Isla to retrieve the other androids, but…

The Plastic Memories anime will be airing from April 5 during the Spring 2015 anime season. Further information will be revealed in the near future.

Strike the Blood Receives Two-Episode OVA

During the Dengeki Game Festival 2015 event it was announced that Strike the Blood will be receiving a two-episode OVA series scheduled to be released at the end of 2015. The OVA will be an original story written by Gakuto Mikumo.

Strike the Blood, also known in short form as SutoBura, is a Japanese light novel series by Gakuto Mikumo with illustrations by Manyako. A manga adaptation began serialization in June 2012 in ASCII Media Works’s Dengeki Daioh. A 24-episode television anime adaptation by Silver Link and Connect aired between October 4, 2013 and March 28, 2014 in Japan.

Sinon from Sword Art Online Gets Another Figurine

Though Gun Gale Online (the third arc of Sword Art Online) ended, the figurines of Sinon certainly have not. Sinon, the renown sniper of Gun Gale Online, receives another impeccably detailed figurine that will leave both fans of the series and collectors impressed.

Sinon’s pose is full of confidence and style; her hip game is too strong. The sniper rounds and her wavering scarf are a nice touch, as they add a nice depth of personality and flavor. The included clear base is also a nice addition, as there are no other colors clashing with the focal point, Sinon.

New Working!! 3rd Season Visual Revealed

The official website has revealed the third visual for the upcoming third season of Karino Takatsu’s Working!!. Working!! 3 will begin airing from July 2015 during the Summer 2015 anime season.

Working!! is a manga series by the original creator Karino Takatsu. The manga series has a total of 13 volumes and has received two anime adaptations, with the third on its way titled Working!! 3. The first season aired during spring 2010 anime season from April 4 to June 27. The second season titled Working’!! aired during the fall 2011 anime season from October 1 to December 24.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san F Preview Video Streamed

A new preview video for the upcoming the recently announced OVA of Manta Aisora and Koin’s Haiyore! Nyaruko-san (Nyaruko: Crawling with Love) light novel series, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san F, was streamed on Monday during the Animemashite program on TV Tokyo. The OVA will be animated by Xebec (To Love-Ru , Rio: Rainbow Gate!) once again, though no other staff members were revealed. The anime will feature the return of main cast from previous seasons, including: Kana Asumi (Yuno from Hidamari Sketch) as Nyaruko, Eri Kitamura (Sayaka Miki in Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica) as and Miyu Matsuki (Yoshinoya in Hidamari Sketch) as Cthuko.
